About the Artist

Suzanne Ives Cunningham makes collages using glue, scissors, Xacto knives, construction paper, photographs, and used books. All of her collages are made by hand without the use of digital camera's or computer programs. She began making collages in 2001 after previous training in papermaking, drawing, and batik. She recently incorporated spray paints into her work.

In addition to art making, Suzanne is a curator at a cafe-gallery in Princeton, NJ. In partnership with fellow artist, Jacqui Alexander and Small World Coffee, Suzanne organizes 24 shows a year, including group shows and fundraisers for the arts.
